The book focuses on stress and coping in different contexts. It address areas related to stressful person-environment interactions and the ways that stress can have an impact upon individual and group functioning in different situation. The book comprises three parts which deal with stress, anxiety, and coping (1) during adolescence, (2) on the job and (3) in the context of personality.
Part one is concerned with adolescents' stress at school and in risk groups.
